Wichita Forestry Department
SRHOA Residents, after reaching out to the Wichita Forestry Department (316) 268-4361 they have informed us about their tree planting service. They still do procure and plant trees for free on any residential city easement. All the residents need to do is call the forestry division and provide their name and address. The city will then contact the resident to review the area and discuss available tree options. The city will plant and maintain these trees free of charge. From information gathered, the orders for spring planting have already been placed, but possibly a fall planting order is being taken.
