Board Meeting

Call to Order 7:00

Residents Open Forum (a time for residents to speak, concerns, comments that are not on the agenda. Please keep this to 2 minutes.)
- Gary: Is there anything the board can do on future deliberate violations of the covenant? Answer: It would require amendments to the covenants via a lawyer. The covenants are what we must abide by.
Reports of the Officers
Reports of the President –
- Website has had trouble. It is being fixed.
- Landscaping violations
Reports of the Treasurer –
- Unpaid dues, follow up with HOA management on collections
Reports of the Secretary –
- Nothing
Reports of the Committee
DRC Committee
- No Current issues
Maintenance Committee
- Pool will be bug sprayed and cleaned up around the area on Saturday.
Neighborhood Watch Committee
- No issues
Welcome Committee
- 8 new residents, Ashley will put together welcome cards and gifts for them.
Old Business
- Bike Rack- 2 6’ bike racks from the bicycle peddler ~ $150 a piece Nate motions to purchase 2 black 6’ bicycle racks for $300: passes 5-0
New Business
- Resignation of David Loose from the Board- accepted via email.
- Landscaping of Lark Entrance- Budget for landscaping improvements for entrances is $500. We will coordinate with Suburban to ensure sprinklers are functioning before landscaping is installed.
- Review of Collections and Liens on properties with HOA Management-
- Covenant Enforcement
- Pool items:
- Security System: Nikki will get 5 bids for security cameras/systems.
- Heater: Tabled until April. Nikki will get bids for two other companies.
- Lighting: the guy offering to install the lighting, wants to do it with installation of the heater. So we will wait to decide once we know what we’re doing with the heater.
- Siding
- Both bids are for removal of old siding, install hardy board, caulk, and paint. Another Contracting company: $3684 Guzman Construction: $4350 Third and final bid will be sent via email by Nikki to the board. We will vote then.
- Opening Date: We will coordinate with aquasizers to have it begin opening the pool on the 12th to allow sufficient time to let the water heat up by the time school is out on the 22nd. The pool will be opened to residents on the 22nd allowing water temps.
Next Meeting – April 14th, 2014. 7 pm location TBD.
